Katherine’s sculpture Justice, from The Phoenix Series, is part of an exhibition, 100 Years of Women Rockin’ the World, at Artrage Gallery in Syracuse, New York.  This sculpture has been used on all the publicity post cards advertising Dr. Dhafir’s case and this website.  The opening for the exhibition is tonight, Saturday, March 5th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. See Katherine’s artist statement here.

On Sunday, February 13, 2011 ICNA Relief (an American Muslim relief Organization) held a dinner event in Yorba Linda, CA to raise money for women’s Shelters, and to help relieve homelessness and hunger in the U.S.  A few hundred protesters showed up, harassing those attending as they walked to and from the event hall. [Katherine:  Greg West was one of the prosecutors in Dr. Dhafir’s case and it’s very unusual that the local media did not mention Dr. Dhafir’s case in its coverage.  The media ordinarily goes out of its way to mention the “terrorism” prosecution when any of his prosecutors are mentioned.]
