The government has asked for, and recevied, an extension to filing a response to the appeals brief submitted by Dr. Dhafir’s lawyers, Peter Goldberger and Barry Boss. The response will now be submitted on April 9th, 2008. The appeal team will have two weeks to respond. These are all the briefs that will be submitted and, after a few months, a date for oral arguments will be set.

Dr. Dhafir has had some shoulder problems recently that have affected his ablility to respond to everyone who writes to him. In his last letter to me he asked that I send a special thanks to:
