It is time for the citizens of Rochester ….

Ø to participate in democracy

Ø to demand answers of our representatives

Ø to weigh in on our continued occupation with its’ exorbitant price tag and horrific human cost

Scott Ritter, Chief U.N. Weapons Inspector in Iraq 1991 — 1998

former Marine Corps Intelligence Officer; author of many books including Iraq Confidential: The Untold Story of the Intelligence Conspiracy to Undermine the UN and Overthrow Saddam Hussein

Elizabeth De la Vega, former federal prosecutor

author of United States v. George W. Bush et al., centered on a hypothetical indictment of Bush et al. for tricking the nation into war, i.e. conspiracy to defraud the United States

Iraq Veterans Against The War (IVAW)

Member will share the consequences of the Iraq War for soldiers on the ground in Iraq and preview some of the powerful testimony condemning the illegality and immorality of the war to be delivered at the Winter Soldier event in Washington, DC March 13-16.

The People

For many months ordinary citizens have visited our legislators’ offices to ask if our representatives believe the Iraq war and occupation are legal. In only one case did we receive an answer with an explanation. In others there have been little or no response to our question. So now, we the constituents are demanding answers.
