On Friday, February 3rd, Judge Mordue resentenced Dr. Rafil Dhafir to 22 years in prison, in large part because he is unrepentant about sending food and medicine to starving Iraqi civilians in violation of International Economic Emergency Powers Act (IEEPA). (more…)

Scores of innocent elderly American cancer patients died needlessly, innumerable tens of thousands of Iraqi needy (children, women and men) died, and more than that suffered malnutrition and the humiliation of poverty. Dr. Dhafir’s resentencing is postponed. It will now be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the James Hanley Federal Building in downtown Syracuse.
