The government has asked for, and recevied, an extension to filing a response to the appeals brief submitted by Dr. Dhafir’s lawyers, Peter Goldberger and Barry Boss. The response will now be submitted on April 9th, 2008. The appeal team will have two weeks to respond. These are all the briefs that will be submitted and, after a few months, a date for oral arguments will be set.

Please write to the warden at the Communications Management Unit, Terre Haute, Indiana, and ask her to look into the medical conditions in the unit because the health care is so poor it is a threat to the health and sometimes the life of the prisoners.
