I have one suggestion: From personal experience, I have reason to believe that any public admission of support for anyone having anything to do with prominent Muslim writers and prominent figures--runs the risk of being targets of investigations themselves. For this reaon, I would be very disinclined to identify myself in a letter to Dr. Dhafir, much less include my return address. Just something worth thinking about. This is a much-needed ally.
